357 Armor Plate with Moly-D Magnum is a rich green moly grease which provides excellent stability and unsurpassed performance under a wide range of temperatures and operating conditions. Armor Plate grease is entirely unique due to the fact that the moly in it is a compound that provides superior performance to other greases containing the black solid form of moly, molybdenum disulfide.Composition:

Characteristics: Armor Plate Magnum is a truly versatile and multi-purpose grease for all applications. Its all-around performance is unsurpassed in all areas of industrial, automotive, farm machinery and other off-road applications. Moly-D outperforms molysulfide in side-by-side test results, exhibiting superior anti-wear and anti-oxidant properties. It also has excellent thermal stability at extremely high temperatures. Wear tests show that Armor Plate allows much less wear and gives increased load carrying capability while lowering grease-operating temperatures in actual service.Armor Plate Magnum can characteristically be used as a "high temp" lubricant for a wide range of applications where the "non-melt" feature of the grease will prevent loss of the lubricant due to melting where the bases of other greases actually turn to liquid. It is engineered to resist rust, oxidation and corrosion while reducing wear and keeping operating temperatures down. In addition, it has exceptional water resistance and is compounded into a tacky, buttery consistency for excellent adhesion to parts to be lubricated. Armor Plate Magnum is available as a multipurpose No. 1 and No. 2 NLGI grades. It has a medium No. 2 consistency but still retains excellent pumpability at sub-freezing temperatures. My experience with with this grease in wheel bearing applications on boat trailers that were submerged in water for unloading was excellent and the high tac and sealing qualities of Primrose grease with MOLY D in most cases completely eliminated water entering the bearings. On my boat trailer inspection the hubs packed with Primrose 357 MOLY D grease, used in conjunction with bearing lubbers showed no breakdown in grease quality even after a summer of use in and out of the water, and 3760 miles of travel.
