MADE HIMSELF AVAILABLE MORE THAN EVER THIS YEAR TO MEET AND GET FEEDBACK
FROM SHAREHOLDERS. The Friday night event at Borsheim's
Jewelry was packed . Everyone attending was filled with enthusiasm
about the job Mr. Buffett was doing . Many were making
purchases of gift items and memorabilia of the 2004 event in Omaha .
Saturday , the Quest Center in Omaha was packed. The Omaha World
Herald reported 19,500 plus attending the shareholders meeting on
Saturday . The shareholders were surprised to see a 1700 square
foot Clayton Home assembled in the Quest Center. It was painted with
Benjamin Moore paint and completely outfitted by other Berkshire
Hathaway companies furnishings. |

| The backyard barbecue started at 5:00 PM Saturday afternoon at the Nebraska Furniture Mart. Famous Dave's BBQ of Omaha provided the food for the event . About 3:30 Saturday afternoon the parking lots were completely filled, people were in the Nebraska Furniture Mart taking an advantage of special shareholder prices. Earlier Saturday morning my son had came in to town from 500 miles away and he reported that it was elbow to elbow shopping and at the Mart also . | |||||||||||||||

Abrahams Catering provided the food and refreshments at Borsheim's As they have over the last several years A band was on hand to provide musical entertainment also. |

 Indoors
entertainment was provided by a piano player . Abrahams Catering
provided refreshments . Shareholders were actively conversing with
fellow shareholders talking mostly about the different Berkshire
Hathaway holdings .
This year I spoke too many people who were from western Canada . The stronger Canadian dollar has enticed many investors from Canada to purchase USA stocks. Many people commented to me that they felt very comfortable in purchasing Berkshire Hathaway stock . Shareholders, said that they were very impressed with some of the attractions they visited while in Omaha. The Omaha Zoo was the most mentioned. |

 Borsheim's
as you can see was busy with shareholders keeping every salesperson
answering questions about merchandise and taking advantage of the
special shareholder prices provided during the weekend.
Displays as pictured at the left were arranged throughout the store . This particular one with the different sized world globes was a very popular attraction. Sales representatives from many of the manufacturers that supply Borsheim's with merchandise were on hand to answer questions and to help with special requests on items that would have to be ordered for the customer . For some of you who were not aware of the fact that Borsheim's not only sells fine jewelry, they also have a complete in house jewelry restoration and repair shop . If you have a particular designed as an example of a ring that you would liked to have made all you have to do is put together a rough drawing of what you would like and presented it to any of the salespeople and they will be happy to put the final touches on the designed for you and give you a custom quote on a finished design. A
large outdoor tent was assembled on the Borsheim's northwest parking area , tables
and chairs were provided for shareholders to sit down and relax and talk
with other shareholders or play different games of cards and a special
attraction was the entertainment provided by a blindfolded chess player,
that was playing multiple games at one time .
