Ever since I purchased the DCI 144-148 MHz filter, I have wanted to let someone technical at your company know about it.

I have been trying to use my Kenwood radio at a television transmitter site for over 10 years. The combined R.F. is so dense that I was unable to hear even the local repeaters.

Much to my delight the filter worked and I can hear all the repeaters and work simplex, to take advantage of the 1,200 foot receive site.

I would guess that if someone would ask if the filter works at co-located AM, FM, two-way, paging, and television sites, the answer based on field experience must be yes.

Subject: 144 to 148 MHz bandpass filter

Just wanted to let you guys know that the bandpass filter I purchased from you did a GREAT job. My intermod was S-9 on 144.2 MHz SSB without it (I am using a 24 dB gainGaAsFET) and S-ZERO with it. I live about 4 miles from the famous Reverview, Florida antenna farm and the filter lets me operate one of my favorite modes like old times.

I thought you may like a report on our DCI-146-4H Bandpass Filter. It is removing all our interference of intermod, which really pleases us as being in West Point Grey, we have B.C. Tel, Dr.'s offices and others that uses instruments that radiate interference. Now we have none and another point no drop in signals as other filters we have tried. Also so neatly constructed.

I recently purchased one of your DCI-146-4H Two Meter Bandpass filters. I had been experiencing heavy intermod interference due to my location. Upon inserting your filter in my antenna line this problem was solved.

Being an antenna engineer I ran a swept frequency test of the unit. The test showed the exact curve and insertion loss described in your literature.

Subject: Filter performance

The 2m filter I ordered arrived on May 19th however I get it only the next day because I was not at home at this date. I waited several days before answering your mail in order to have a full opinion. The filter performs extremely well. I did not notice any degradation of the sensitivity while unwanted noises opening the squelch disappeared. I live in a dense urban environment with a lot of all kinds of antennas all around. The 2 meters band became usable with my handheld connected to an omni8,5 dBi gain antenna. Now I can use this band in a normal way. I appreciated that you joined measured parameters of the filter. If someone has this kind of problems, I will certainly recommend your product. The only inconvenience is that the filter is not small however it is overcome by the very good parameters. Good things very seldom come in small packages.

This week, one friend o mine ( living in Atlanta (w4set) ) come to Barcelona Spain. And buy one Filter DCI 145-2H, for me, because I have one very Strong Signal origen by Digital Service Telecomunications Telephone, on 148.625 Mhz. This Station is abt 300 meters from my house, and produce very Strong's Intermodulations on all band ( 144 to 146 Mhz. ). Whit your Filter DCI, I solutionated the big problem of Noise...

Congratulations for your product, is very nice and excelent quality !! I write one article on the Radio Magazine, whit my experience, whit your filter. This filter is buy on the " Amateur Electronic Supply " in Orlando (FL) by my friend in Atlanta.
