THIS RECIPE IS BASED ON 28 OUNCES OF BAKED BEANS TO START WITH. |

I USE GLADWARE, PICTURED BELOW FOR ALL MY PREPARATION AND STORAGE NEEDS. |

1 LARGE ONIONS OR 2 MEDIUM TO SMALL, I PREFER VIDALIA ONIONS. CUT IN TO CHUNKED PIECES. |
MICROWAVE: THE ONIONS 8 OR 9 MINUTES. THEY SHOULD BE TURNING TRANSLUCENT IN COLOR BY THEN. |

| ADD 3 T 5 OUNCES APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, TO THE ONIONS TO ADD MOISTURE TO HELP THE ONIONS COOK. | ||
| PLACE THE COVER UPON THE MICROWAVE ABLE DISH, DO NOT SEAL IT. MICROWAVE ON HIGH 10 MINUTES. THE ONIONS SHOULD BE TURNING A TRANSLUCENT COLOR WHEN DONE. | ||
| AFTER THE ONION ARE DONE THEN COMBINE THE FOLLOWING: | ||
| 2 OUNCES OF DARK BROWN SUGAR | ||
| ADD A LARGE PINCH, McCORMICK GRILL MATES MONTREAL STEAK SEASONING. | ||
| ADD THE 28 OUNCES OF BEANS, COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS AND MIX THOROUGHLY. | ||
| MICROWAVE COOK TO FINISH: 20 MINUTES ON HIGH, STIR AT 15 MINUTES FROM THE OUTSIDE BOWL EDGE LIFTING TOWARD THE CENTER. THE CENTER DOES NOT COOK AS FAST AND THIS ALLOWS EVERYTHING TO COOK EVENLY. THE ONIONS SHOULD BE FULLY TRANSLUCENT IN COLOR WHEN DONE. | ||
