NEW GLADWARE REVIEW BY JIM BAUDO

GLAD® INTRODUCES NEW GLADWARE®

Have you ever given a container to a loved one worrying that it would never find its way back to you? Thanks to GLADWARE® containers, there's no need to worry anymore.

GLADWARE® is ideal for anyone on the go who needs an affordable, portable container to protect, store, freeze, and organize food.

GLADWARE® features a tight seal to lock in freshness. It's microwaveable*, freezeable, sealable, and top-shelf dishwasher safe. GLADWARE® is also designated Kosher.

GLADWARE® is available in two convenient sizes: 24-ounce "Soup & Salad" and 25-ounce "Entrée" size. Each package offers five clear containers (five tubs with lids) that stack conveniently to reduce cabinet clutter.

Also, the package keeps lids and tubs organized in your cupboard...you'll never have to look for a matching lid again!

GLADWARE® offers all the benefits of a classic rigid container at around 50 cents each. It's a more affordable choice in food containers. You just can't beat it!

daughterThese multi-purpose containers can be used and re-used for:
bulletPacking lunches for school or work
bulletPicnics, barbecues, camping, and traveling
bulletStoring leftovers, as well as protecting fresh foods
bulletPerfect for keeping all your recipes delicious days later
bulletPackaging for special food gifts
bulletPortion-control
bulletOr simply organize a wide variety of small household items.

You can find GLADWARE® in the GLAD® section of your store.
The proper way to microwave foods in GLADWARE® depends upon a few key factors: the microwave oven power intensity, and the fat and oil content in food. Always vent the container by lifting at least one corner of the lid. Because fats and oils have higher boiling points than water and can get hotter in the microwave, some caution should be used in heating high fat and oil content foods, such as a single hot dog, a piece of chicken, dry rice and butter only, or fresh unwetted vegetables with butter, since oils or fats may be present at very high concentrations that can get very hot during microwave cooking. We recommend caution in cooking such foods and, further, cooking such foods slowly with a low microwave power setting. If you are unsure of how long to heat, it is recommended that you cook for short periods at a time and check before continuing.
