The GPS turns your COM PORT connected laptop into a compact navigation system. Utilizing a 12-channel GPS receiver, calculates position, direction, and speed using satellite data that is updated every second to ensure precise location information.

We can't say you won't ever get lost again, but it will definitely be a lot harder to do with RAND McNally's accurate directional readings. Plug it into your notebook's COM port and you're equipped for any road trip. Package includes everything you need to navigate – all the maps and hardware:

THIS IS THE EZ VIEW. IT IS MY FAVORITE WITH THE LARGE ELECTRONIC COMPASS. AS YOU START MOVING THE SPEED AND DISTANCE TRAVELED STARTS WORKING AND THE ELEVATION INDICATOR TURNS TO A GREEN GRAPH AND READS BOTH DIGITAL 1145 FT. AND AS A GRAPH. AS THE SATELLITES ARE PICKED UP THEY APPEAR AS GREEN BARS SHOWING THE NUMBER OF SATELLITES BEING RECEIVED, 4 ARE INDICATED ABOVE, ALSO IS THE GPS TIME. THE MOUSE POINTER IS ON THE SCREEN AS I SHOT THESE PHOTOS WITH MY HP CAMERA.
