| Description:
An industrial
hydraulic and multi-purpose anti-wear and seal saving additive concentrate
for use as a supplement to finished lubricants or to formulate finished
lubricants by blending with suitable refined
base oils. The seal saving additive in
Industrial Hydraulic Seal Saver safely conditions and preserves
all seal elastomers with a controlled expansive effect to reduce and,
eliminate hydraulic leaks. In the process, it
preserves seal life and keeps them pliable.
It prevents drying, shrinking, hardness and cracking of seals, which
cause excessive
leakage and replacements.
Performance Data: Conventional multifunctional zinc based anti-wear additive packages have a limit on thermal stability above which decomposition leads to corrosive products resulting in quick failure of hydraulic circuits. The difficulties encountered with many zinc containing fluids at high temperatures have been well publicized by Cincinnati Milacron, a major machine tool manufacturer, and Abex Denison, manufacturers of vane and piston pumps and hydrostatic transmissions.Industrial Hydraulic Seal Saver has included an anti-wear package formulated to achieve an extremely high level of thermal stability to exceed requirements of these manufacturers as well as those of Sperry Vickers for a high zinc type anti-wear system. In addition, it provides additional extreme pressure and load carrying capability not found in other anti-wear hydraulic oils.In meeting the need for a more thermally stable zinc based anti-wear hydraulic oil, oils treated with Industrial Hydraulic Seal Saver become virtually "universal" industrial hydraulic oils, meeting and exceeding all manufacturers requirements. Besides simplifying inventory requirements, the possibility of misapplication becomes much less. By treating oils to exceed all applicable performance requirements, a significant reduction in wear and in operating temperatures, and an increase in operating efficiency is usually the case.
