API CI-4/SL U.S. Patent No. 6,586,374 Description: 791 Syn-O-Gen is a fully formulated CI-4/SL universal motor oil. Due to its 5W40 viscosity grade, 791 Syn-O-Gen meets and greatly exceeds all heavyduty diesel engine requirements for multigrade engine oil. A 100% pure synthetic motor oil, Syn-O-Gen is vastly superior to partial synthetics. In addition, 791 is formulated to meet and exceed API SL for gasoline engines.Composition: 791 Syn-O-Gen is formulated with pure synthesized hydrocarbon base stocks and polymers. It is fully compatible with all conventional mineral oil-based motor oils. 791 Syn-O-Gen is fortified with a high detergent 12 TBN additive package with highly effective dispersants, making it suitable for all diesel engines where 15W40 is required. Its low volatility compared to conventional light neutral based oils greatly reduces oil consumption. The high detergency plus the exceptional oxidation and thermal stability prevents deposits and oil breakdown, making much longer drain intervals possible. Special anti-wear additives in superior lubricating base stocks plus super engine cleanliness spells elimination of most wear and reduction of maintenance.791 Syn-O-Gen is formulated for extreme cold temperature as well as extreme high temperature service. Its 5W viscosity at low temperatures allows it to replace conventional 5W30, 10W30, and 15W40 oils in gasoline as well as diesel engines Performance Characteristics: Less Wear Better Fuel Economy Reduces Maintenance Suitable for Mixed Fleets Wider Operating Temperature Range High RPM “Turbo” Quality Uses: New Passenger Car RequirementsGasoline and Diesel Engines Turbo/Racing Engines Arctic Service ETDS 791 1/04 Applications: Fleets AgricultureConstruction Industrial Drilling Rigs Stationary Engines Heavy Duty Trucks Specifications: 791 API Limits HD European LimitsSAE Grade 5W-40 Kinematic Viscosity cSt @ 40°C 92 cSt @ 100°C 15.0 12.5 min.
