| .The photo was taken indoors with no flash. I felt it needed to have the photo lightened just a little. To adjust the color just click on the photo and FRONTPAGE responds with a new set of icons on the ICON BAR. Select the icon with the sun and arrow up ( the bubble help says brightness up ) and look at the face of the person as that is what you want to adjust the color of and with each click it is lightened, Stop clicking when what you see is the desired result. | |

| Click on the photo and FRONTPAGE ICON BAR responds with XX ICON ( bubble help says crop ). Adjust the selection points on the photo for your desired results. CLICK THE XX ICON AND IT DONE. As above adjust the brightness to your desired effects. | |

| Let me ad a few things of additional information for you. | |
| The original picture was 48k. After adjusting the brightness MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE working in the background with many of its built in features used the photo compression feature, on the photo we brightened it saved it as a 17k file. When I cropped the photo, MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE did a resample of the photo and saved it as a 8k file. By default FRONTPAGE saves the photos at a 75 compression ratio. You can adjust this to your own preference. THIS FEATURE MAKES YOUR PAGES OPEN FASTER. | |
